This Privacy Policy explains how Ceaser Projects ("Ceaser," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit ceaserprojects.com (the "Site") or use our ecommerce growth platform and products, including Coupongini (together, the "Services").
01 Overview
We provide tools that help online stores recover abandoned carts, run coupon campaigns, and increase conversions. In doing so, we process information about visitors to our Site, the merchants who use our Services, and — on behalf of those merchants — their shoppers. This policy describes those practices.
02 Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account & contact details — name, business name, email, phone, and role when you sign up, request a demo, or contact us.
- Billing information — processed through our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
- Support communications — the content of messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — pages viewed, actions taken, IP address, browser, and approximate location.
- Cookies & similar technologies — as described in our Cookie Policy.
Shopper data we process for merchants
When a merchant connects their store, we process limited shopper information — such as cart contents, order events, email or phone (where provided), and on-site behavior — strictly to deliver cart recovery, coupons, and analytics on that merchant's behalf.
03 How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Site and Services.
- To set up accounts, process billing, and provide support.
- To deliver cart recovery, coupon, and messaging features merchants enable.
- To produce analytics and aggregated, de-identified insights.
- To send service and, where permitted, marketing communications you can opt out of.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
04 Our role: controller and processor
For our Site, our own account holders, and our marketing, Ceaser acts as a data controller. For shopper data we process on a merchant's behalf, Ceaser acts as a data processor, and the merchant is the controller. If you are a shopper with questions about how a store uses your data, please contact that store directly; we will support the merchant in responding to your request.
07 Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Shopper data processed for merchants is retained according to the merchant's settings and our agreement with them, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
08 Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise your rights regarding data for which Ceaser is the controller, email contact@ceaserprojects.com. We respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
09 Data security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring — designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 International data transfers
We may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for cross-border transfers.
11 Children's privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Site or by email.
